A MODEL has revealed how she has spent thousands tweaking her face just to look more like Penelope Cruz.

But she claims her recent surgery efforts left her with wacky lips that made her resemble Donald Duck instead.

In an exclusive interview, influencer Wanessa Moura told The U.S. Sun: “When I was a teenager people would say that I looked a lot like Penelope Cruz and to me she’s beautiful, wonderful and talented.

“I had a fourth surgery on my nose to make that look nicer and more delicate like her’s and then wanted larger lips, even though before they looked like Penelope’s lips anyway.

“But I didn’t ask the doctor to do crazy lips.

“After the surgery, I just looked in the mirror and saw Donald Duck instead of myself.”

Without including her routine monthly beauty maintenance treatments, so far Vanessa claims to have spent up to $150,000 on altering her looks.

Her surgeries have included four nose jobs, a lip enhancement, lip enhancement reversal, and cellulite removal, to name a few.

Spanish-born Penelope, on the other hand, seems to have remained happy in her own skin over the years and has shunned plastic surgery to rely on growing old gracefully.

In fact, she once told Cosmopolitan UK: “Age holds absolutely no fear for me.”

And while the 48-year-old award-winning actresses’s natural looks have captured the hearts of some of Hollywood’s hottest male stars, she’s also remained happily married to actor Javier Bardem.

Wanessa, 29, no doubt has plenty of admirers as well, but had become famous and garnered attention in Brazil for looking exactly like the Vanilla Sky actress.

“The surgery on my nose was to make it nicer and more delicate even though I always had a thin nose, but I wanted the tip to be like hers.

“The only problem was that after the surgery the tip came down because of my wide smile.

“Unfortunately, rhinoplasty is a very complicated surgery and it didn’t work out the first time, so I had to have it done three times more before we had a good outcome.

“Otherwise, my mouth has always been very similar to Penelope’s as well.

“But when I went to enlarge my lips this time around, my face was altered and unbalanced.

“As a consequence, I discovered the similarities that I’d had with Penelope were diminishing and I wasn’t looking like her anymore.

“I had the first lip surgery reversal, which is a removal procedure done using a product called Hyaluronidase.

“It didn’t take long and I was just uncomfortable from the second day onwards.

“Then I had to wait for the product to disperse.

“I waited a week and when nothing happened I decided to fly to a different surgeon in Mumbai and had the procedure done again by him there.

“Thankfully my lips went back to their natural state in the end but only after the surgeon in India did it all.

“I felt lucky as my face also returned to what it was before as well.

“Thankfully I look more like Penelope again.”

As she puts her plastic surgery journey on hold, the Instagram star and influencer says she’ll continue spend a lot on a her beauty regimen and upkeep instead.

“Unfortunately no-one stays young forever, ” she adds.

“As models we all eventually need to retire so I take really good care of myself and eat healthily, do sport and sleep eight hours every day.

“I don’t drink alcohol because it damages the skin.

“I spend a lot on maintenance like facials, body shaping drainage, paraffin treatment on the feet and hands, body exfoliation shaping massage, lip revitalization and my eyebrows.

“Its called severe maintenance.

“I don’t remember the exact amount I spend on maintenance until the credit card bill arrives.

“As for any more plastic surgery, well at the moment I don’t have any new plans. I feel perfect right now.

“That may change if I decide I need to improve my body or my face.”
